New Faces

Models, models, models... never ending theme for me!

This evening I'm introducing the most interesting new faces from polish agencies.
Of course everyone has a right to his own opinion :-)

Since this girl won Oskary Fashion yesterday, lets meet her first:

Hania Koczewska
Mother agency: REBEL Models
Stats: height 1.76 / bust 79 / waist 61 / hips 88 / shoes 39 / eyes blue / hair light brown
Age: 15
Amazing gaze, charming freckles, great body and self-confidence.
Still really young, but hopefully soon we will see her abroad. For now, Hania is updating her book and working in Poland.

Ola Korytowska
Mother agency: GAGA Models
Stats: height 177 / bust 78 / waist 60 / hips 90 / hair dark blond / eyes blue
Age: 16
Ola is really catchy, mostly cause of characteristic lips, but just felt in love when I saw her polaroids.
She looks so "royal", unforgettable eyes, perfect pale skin. She already has an option for IMG (worldwide) and GAGA for sure will menage her career well.

Iza Wróblewska
Mother agency: STARSYSTEM Warsaw
Stats: height 177 / bust 83 / waist 62 / hips 90 / shoes 40 / hair blond / eyes gray
Age: 16
With her cute smile she amazed international bookers of the biggest agencies.
Now she is working on her body and English skills, and soon her mother agency is going to place her in NEXT or WOMEN.

Kamila Smogulecka
Mother agency: SPP Models
Stats: height 173 / bust 90 / waist 61 / hips 88 / shoes 40 / hair dark blond / eyes blue
Age: 15
You can love her or hate her, but she is the most unique girl I saw since.. ever. And god, she is 15!
I actually "stole" her photos from maxmodels, because she not yet on SPP website.
I'm praying for some more centimeters of height for her, that's all she needs now.

Ida
Mother agency: ML Studio
Stats: height 179 / bust 85 / waist 62 / hips 87 / shoes 41 / hair dark blond / eyes blue
Age: 13
I'm not really a fan of so young models, but this one is so promising! For sure ML Studio will prepare her well to work abroad one day.
She is so fresh, natural, has perfect measurements and extremely long legs. So far Ida had only some simple shots with no make up on, and already showed her potential. We can only imagine what she will show us later!

There are so many new girls with great features that its hard to pick :-)
You can find all full portfolios at their MA web's, enjoy, and keep fingers crossed for up rising stars!
Oh well, lets at least hope for the best :-)

She is a TOP Blogger! [MAFFASHION]

Good evening.
Today I can finally present my latest interview with an amazing and beautiful young lady, which luckily found a while to answer some questions to one of thousands viewers of her blog.
MAFFASHION or Madame Julietta.
6000 facebook fans, 20000 lookbook.nu fans, 4500 observing blogspot, only now 59 ppl is watching her blog.
Top 10 of polish trendsetters, finalist of current edition of OSKARY FASHION in the category of bloggers.

When and how did you start your so-called adventure with the fashion? What happened that Your development moved so fast?
I made this blog exactly one year and five months ago. I'm interested in fashion since I remember. At the beginning it was mostly fascination to fashion photography, storing it on my computer, cutting out of newspaper beautiful pictures, inspirations. Development came just like that and rather uncontrolled way, because in the end we can't force anyone to visit this or that site:)
Do you think that your blog's popularity has influence on how much you are into this little world now, it is the passion what attracts readers?
I'm heavily involved in creating this blog, it required, and still requires a lot of work, and above all I need alot of time for it. The whole time I'm involved in the same way, for sure the image quality and "validity" of blog in my life has changed. As I mentioned before, popularity  is not 100% effect of my work:) From the very beginning I was creating this blog just they way I would like to see it as a reader. My specific "sense of aesthetics" has fulfilled the requirements and tastes of many other people as it turned out. It is extremely nice.

What in Your personal and professional life gives you the popularity of your website? Did open many new "door" and opportunities?
My personal life is a life like any other. I"m working, studying, I got a family, a boyfriend, friends:) Ok, sometimes someone recognize me on the street. I never expected that, and even now I still do not know how to behave in such a situation. I guess it's always embarrassing for me hehe.
Thanks to the blog I'm getting a lot of invitations, offers of collaboration which I never expected as well. However, I do not feel the need to be at all those events, media and fashion. Anyway, they are mainly these new opportunities, or rather a great experiences.

What is your recipe for success among thousands of other blogs?
At least once a week someone is asking me about it:)
Usually I'm ironic, saying that I googled the "pass for success" and typed in like a random code in The Sims.
No but, seriously, I always have a problem with the answer, because honestly I don't know.
I suggest
to lead the blog and enjoy creating it, and not to do it under pressure impulse and popularity. Because it is rather pointless and probably a little joyful process for the author.

NYLON Japan

Do you spend a lot of Your time on it? Perhaps the pressure of hundreds readers lurking for new posts is quite big :-)
The pressure is always:) For me, blogging is a relaxation, if I only have a little while I like to write something new:)
Personally, I love when something is going on there, that's why I'm posting news pretty often.

What are the main benefits that you probably have in connection with the popularity of your blog? Both mentally and physically :-)
Benefits? Internet World is not as gracious "sweet ":))) Every person who puts their image to the public opinion probably knows that. Mental benefits derive from people close to me, friendly, they always and everywhere support me. More popularity = more comments. I try not to care when I read the "interesting" offensive things from people who really know about me just as much as they can see on the blog.

Where do you see yourself in the future?
I would like to know as well:) The last time everything in my life is changing much.
Do not want to say anything yet;)
Biggest dream?:)
I'm looking at my grandchildren, sitting next to the fireplace in warm slippers, and there is a pile of VOGUEs (which I'm still able to read somehow).
Laptop on my desk and a lot of photos for next publication, not sure if on the same blog tho ;))
Do You have any other blog except of madamejulietta.blogspot.com?
Yes. Blog about jewelery

Okay, some shorter questions,
 Favorite polish designer?
I don't have a favorite one. I really liked last projects of A. Maciejak.
Foreign?
Alexander Wang.
Usually You are shopping at..?
SH'ds, Zara, H&M :) everywhere if I like something.
We just had Fashion Weeks in biggest capitals of fashion.
Any collection You like the most?
There was too much. In each I can find something special, and it inspires me.
Favorite models?
Sasha Pivovarova, Daria Pleggenkuhle, Arizona Muse, Abbey Lee, Freja Beha Erichsen, Adriana Lima, Erin Wasson, Regina Feoktistova, Magdalena Frackowiak, Clara Alonso, Bianca Balti, Bruna Tenório, Marloes Hors, Bambi Northwood-Blyt, Cameron Russell , Ana Beatriz Barros, Julia Saner, Mona Johannesson ,Daphne Groenevel,  Daphne Groenevelk, Raica Oliveira, Katja Shchekina, Daniela Freitas
Favorite blog(s)?
For example Fashiontoast.

Well, this is fascinating, 1.5 year of writing, and so many fans.. but I guess that it only shows how many of us is actually really into fashion, and that we need some inspirations and guides, what this types of blogs gives us.

Talents mode on - Łukasz Pukowiec

I just had a chance to ask young gifted man some questions, a photographer -
    Łukasz Pukowiec.
This 20-years-old boy must be succesful.. yeah because if not he, then who?
Oh well, a few is still comes to my mind, but about them some other time.

Me: When did You start with photography? Why did You pick this hobby?
Łukasz: Everything started 4 years ago, I got small compact camera as a present. I used to take photos of my friends. The idea about this hobby? I don't really know, everything came spontaneously. Then I didn't think that I will become a fashion photographer. I always had a weakness to the fashion, however I had no idea that it will fill whole my life.
Me: So fashion itself is interesting for You aswell?
Łukasz: Yes, ofcourse. I think its really important, cause its hard to shoot something what is actually boring for You or what You have no idea about.
Me: Oh, so maybe thats the key to the success, which step by step You are achieving pretty fast.
If Im not wrong, You already have some publications in the portfolio?
Łukasz: It's still long way to talk about the success :-)
And yes, so far my works appeared in Fashion magazine,
Vanity Teen, Fiasco magazine, Umno magazine.
I hope that it will be an interesting year and it will all move fast for me.

     (Sonia Trzewikowska for Fashion Magazine)

Me: This year You have final exams and You are starting hmm.. a new part of Your life, do You have some specific plans for the nearest months?
Łukasz: Im planning to live in Warsaw, this is like the center of fashion market in Poland, we will see what is going to happen. For sure I will keep taking photos and searching for new inspirations.
Me: You are planning to work on Your own, or rather joining some agency?
Łukasz: Well.. its easier to work in the agency, You dont need to take care of looking for clients and stuff, You are just doing what You do the best - photography.
So I guess that sooner or later, I will try to work for some good agency :-)
    Me: Fingers crossed then.
Last 4 years You were working with many beautiful polish models, any of them You like the most? And maybe there is one which You would really love to work with?

     (Paulina Gierasimiuk for Vanity Teen)

Łukasz: All models I worked with are amazing. These are my muses, it would be really hard to pick the best one. Recently I had a shooting with Mariana Idźkowska, it was really great, she is truly incredible.
Me: We are waiting for the results then.
Okay, its time for a really common question :-) Favorite photographer?
Łukasz: I think I don't have one. I like Steven Meisel, Solve Sundsbo, Tim Walker.
Their works are really good, they have an imagination and fresh look, thats what I love.
Me: Im following You almost from the beginning, You are getting better with every shooting, well.. atleast in my opinion :-)
What about You? Are You satisfied with Your works?

     (Magdalena Berus for Fiasco magazine)

Łukasz: Yes, I am satisfied, however all the time I want more. It's not like any of us will ever be fully satisfied with what we are doing right? ;-) This is it, thats why we are improving ourselves.

I have to agree with his last words :-)

I really adore his photos, maybe because I appreciate simplicity, and its not that easy to make it interesting then. I guess its not me only, cause Łukasz is working with our leading agencies, doing so called test shots for models.
Anyway, I hope that sooner or later his talent will be discovered by the right people, so we will be able to get some Vogue issues with the photos of another great Polish photographer.

Enjoy the photos, and find more on > ŁUKASZ PUKOWIEC PHOTOGRAPHY
